The National Trust for Canada is a national membership-based non-profit organization and registered charity established in 1973.
The National Trust envisions a future where heritage buildings, landscapes, natural areas and communities are widely and consistently valued as the cornerstones of our identity, memory and sense of place, and recognized as essential to a vibrant economy and a sustainable future for all Canadians.
The National Trust pursues this vision by building a strong national heritage movement, demonstrating heritage-led regeneration through our own projects and investments, educating and engaging the people of Canada in the conservation and appreciation of historic places, promoting heritage-friendly policies and laws, and raising funds for conservation.
